At the age of ten, I developed an interest in ghastly tales. My love for suspense and mystery began with a novel by Agatha Christie. But my interest in murder and mayhem didn’t stop with plain old murder mysteries. I devoured comic books with paranormal detectives, ghosts, monsters, sinister old houses, and shocking crimes. Movies with vampires, blobs, creatures crawling from swamps, zombies, giant ants, and more kept me entertained for hours. So naturally, I decided to write my own stories.
I sold my first novel to Kensington publishing for their groundbreaking Arabesque line. NIGHT MAGIC went on to be recognized for Excellence in Romance Fiction by Romantic Times Magazine. My third novel, AFTER ALL, became a movie produced by BET. Holly Robinson Peete was the female lead as Michelle Toussaint, an investigative television reporter who uncovers scandal and murder.
